Here’s a taste of what you can do using our digital banking services.

After logging into Internet Banking or our Mobile app, the first thing you'll see is a home screen or ‘Dashboard’. This gives a quick overview of your banking without needing to look into specific accounts. You’ll see all your accounts split into tiles, which show your actual and available balance.
Clicking or tapping through from an account tile brings up more info about the account.

With Internet Banking and the App you’ll find it easy to transfer money and pay bills!
Internet Banking
Once logged in, head to 'Pay & Transfer' on the top menu of Internet Banking.
You’ll see a new screen where you can choose where you’d like to pay from, and where to transfer to.
Just tap or click the boxes to choose the account to transfer to, the date you’d like and any reference you’d like on a statement.
In a similar way you can tap in the ‘To’ box to choose to ‘Pay someone new’ and type their account number.
You can select ‘Search billers and payees’ from the ‘To’ box to pay a bill to a company.

Mobile app
On the App you can find 'Pay & Transfer' on the bottom navigation bar on every screen.
Need to set up a new Automatic Payment (AP)?
Once you’ve logged into Internet Banking click on Pay & transfer from the menu or at the top of the screen.
You’ll see a new screen where you can choose where you’d like to pay from.
Just tap or click the boxes to choose where to pay the money. You’ll probably need choose ‘Pay someone new’ (for individuals) or ‘Search billers and payees’ (to pay larger companies).
Tap the ‘Frequency’ box to choose how often and how many payments you’d like to have on the Automatic Payment.
Remember to double-check the Amount and click ‘Continue’.
Altering an Automatic payment (AP) online is free and easy.
Just tap through from the account tile to bring up the Account detail screen for the account where the AP comes from.
Check your APs in the list of ‘Upcoming Payments’. If you can’t see the AP you want, click on “Show all planned & automatic payments”. Click the one you need to change and Internet Banking will bring up a new ‘Pay & Transfer’ screen.
Change the AP amount, date or frequency of the payment or simply ‘Skip the next payment’.
Don't forget to 'Confirm' to save the change!

Got everything you need? Setting up an international payment is easy.
Once you are logged into Internet Banking, spy 'Payees' towards the top of the screen. Click on this and then 'International'. Once on the International Payees page you should tap 'Add Payee' and follow the prompts.
When you're ready head to 'Payees' and 'International' again and tap 'Pay'. Choose the account to pay from and how much you'd like to send. Remember to tap 'Request quote', accept the Terms and Conditions and 'Confirm'.

You can start lending applications by clicking ‘Open & Apply' within Internet Banking from the top of the screen, or on the menu of the App.
This brings up a menu that lets you apply for a Personal Loan, Overdraft or Fair Rate Credit Card. The following screens tell you how long an application will typically take to complete and what documents you’ll need. Answer a few questions on that screen, scroll down, tap 'Start' and you're on your way!
If you’re doing some calculations, you can check our rates and fees on our website.
You’ll find links to all of our Interest Rates and Fees at the bottom of every one of our public webpages. Alternatively you can click on Interest Rates or Fees.
If you're interested in lending, you may want to start at Borrowing from the top menu on our website and click through from the type of lending that you're interested in.
If you're interested in calculating the return on a Term Deposit, log into Internet Banking and start an application by clicking on 'Open & Apply' then Term Deposit towards the top of the screen. Follow the prompts to calculate the return for the sum and term that works for you (don’t worry - you can cancel out of the application!).

You can use Internet Banking and our Mobile App to open many types of accounts and services instantly!
Start by clicking 'Open & Apply' from the top of the screen on Internet Banking or on the left menu of the app, to open or apply for whatever you're after.

Follow these steps to reset it online
- On the Log in page, select ‘Forgot your password?’ above the Log in button or under ‘Login help’.
- You’ll need your customer number, your Co‑operative Bank EFTPOS, Debit or Credit Card and either the email address registered to your account, or your 2-step verification mobile.
- Follow the steps online to reset your Internet Banking password.
- Once your password has been reset, we’ll send you a notification to confirm everything’s sorted.
- To do this from the app, select ‘Need a hand’ from the registration screen, then select ‘Reset my password’.

Navigating to the account view screen by tapping on an account tile lets you get more info about the account and you can even make changes to the account.
In the app, you can tap the cog icon on the top right of the screen.
On most desktop screen sizes access info and options from the left hand side menu from the account screen in Internet Banking. If Internet Banking is accessed on a tablet or phone sized screen, ‘Account info’ floats to the top of the screen as a minimised but expandable menu.
From 'Account info’ you can personalise the account by adding a nickname or image, share an account number and even change the account from one type into another.

Keep on top of your banking by setting up some personalised Alerts.
Just head to ‘Settings’ on Internet Banking and then select ‘Alerts’ on the left menu.
Tap the Yes/No sliders to choose how you’d like to receive Alerts, and scroll down to tell us if you’d like some ‘General Alerts’.
Navigate down further to tap on your individual accounts and you can set up withdrawal and balance alerts and lots more.

It's a good idea to regularly change your Internet Banking password.
You can do this by clicking on Settings at the top menu, then selecting ‘Security’ and tapping the ‘Change’ button. While there, you can add a mobile number to add ‘two-factor-authentication’ to make your online banking even more secure.
At The Co‑operative Bank, you can choose whether you'd like to allow external transfers via Internet Banking or the App and if so, up to what amount. To make changes to these levels call your local branch or 0800 554 554.
Only use Internet Banking occasionally?
Why not set up a personalised Alert so you're notified whenever there’s an Internet Banking log in on your account. Just head to ‘Settings’ at the top of Internet Banking and then select ‘Alerts’ on the left menu. Tap the Yes/No sliders for your selection.
Need a Debit Mastercard?
You can order a Debit Mastercard and choose a PIN by tapping on Open & Apply and following the screens. You can find more info about the Debit Mastercard here.
If you already have a card, you can stop it or make changes to it by clicking on ‘Open and Apply’ or ‘Settings’ and then ‘Manage Cards.’ Stop the card by clicking the ‘Deactivate’ button or change the accounts attached to the card by selecting the ‘Linked Accounts’.
Fair Rate Credit Card changes can also be done by heading to ‘Settings’ then ‘Manage Cards’. You’ll see details about the primary card and any additional card holders. You can stop cards using the ‘Deactivate’ button or set a new PIN online by tapping the ‘Change PIN’ button, typing a PIN and selecting 'Next.'
Increasing your Fair Rate Credit Card credit limit
You can apply to increase a credit limit or tell us to decrease your limit by tapping on the credit card tile to get to the account details page on Internet Banking or the App.
Once in Internet Banking, click ‘Edit’ next to the credit limit on the left menu.
To increase the limit choose a new limit, check the estimated monthly repayments and click ‘Next’ to begin the application process.
To decrease, choose a new limit from the slider or text box and click ‘Next’.
New to Term Deposits?
Select Term Deposit from Open & Apply on at the top of the screen in Internet Banking or from the menu on the App. This will give you our available interest rates, background info and access to our Term Deposit Terms and Conditions.
Scroll down to select ‘Start now’. Select an account to deduct and choose who should own the Term Deposit.
Choose an amount to invest and tap ‘Get rates’, select a term to lock your funds away and tap ‘Next’.
Check the details and Ts&Cs and select ‘Confirm’ to finish up.
Already have a Term Deposit?
If you’ve already got a Term Deposit, we’ll message you and send you an alert within Internet Banking and the App to let you know when it's close to maturing.
Clicking on the message or navigating to the Term Deposit screen will let you change what you want to do with the Term Deposit when it’s term expires.
It will also let you top up an existing Term Deposit online for a limited time once the Term Deposit has entered a new term.
Saving for your next big trip, a house deposit or something in between?
Whatever you've got in your sights, track your savings progress in your Internet Banking.
Just set up a new savings account online by logging in and using 'Open and Apply'. Click Create goal and add a goal amount, name and optional deadline. Try it out or click here for more info.
You’re able to read letters from Co‑operative Bank within Internet Banking and the app easily!
When you log into Internet Banking, if you have a new message you may see a note towards the top right of your screen.
On most screens, you’ll see the word ‘Messages’ next to a speech bubble icon.
If you are on a smaller screen (or zoomed in) you might just see the icon.
Either way you can click or tap through to see your messages.
The screen is split into two tabs; one called an Inbox which has messages from us and another called Digital Letters which holds PDF copies of letters that we’d sometimes physically post.
You can delete a message in the inbox using the icon on the right, but Digital Letters can’t be deleted.
Bank statements
To check a bank statement head to the account you are interested in by tapping on the account tile.
In Internet Banking, select Statements.
In the app, tap the PDF icon on the top right of each account screen.
Selecting the statement number icon downloads the statement.
By heading to Settings from the menu on Internet Banking you can change your banking profile to make it more personal by selecting ‘Personalise’ on the left menu.
There you can change whether you’d like to get paper letters from us and what you’d like to get emails on; just scroll down and tap the Yes/No sliders.
In ‘Contact details’ under ‘Settings,' you can also change your address, phone numbers and more. Tap the icon next to the item you’d like change.
