Landlord’s home insurance
Cover for the home, garage, and shed on your rental property. You’re also covered for unexpected circumstances like loss of rent in certain situations, removal costs for abandoned items, and replacement of keys and locks.
Landlord’s contents insurance
Get cover for your chattels and household goods that your tenants use, like furniture, furnishings, and electrical appliances.
Benefits that may work for you
Sudden and accidental loss or damage
We will cover sudden and accidental loss to your rental home up to your total sum insured that happens during the period of insurance.
Loss of rent cover
If your rental property is damaged and unliveable, you can claim up to $30,000 per event to cover lost rent.
Abandoned possessions
Your policy provides cover for up to $10,000 if a tenant abandons your rental property, owes unpaid rent, and is unable to return due to illness or death.
Hidden gradual damage
Your contents will be covered up to $3,000 per year for any damage caused by water leaking from an internal tank or internal plumbing.
Rent default optional benefit
You can purchase this optional benefit to be covered for lost rent if your tenants are evicted for non-payment of rent, are released from the tenancy agreement as a result of hardship or leave without notice.
