We continue to see changes in the way customers choose to interact with us and it’s essential that we adapt so we can support our co-operative members for decades to come.

What's changing?
From Monday 30 June, we will focus our in-person customer service on two physical locations in Auckland: a new Customer Hub in Takapuna, and the existing branch in Manukau. We are also building specialised teams to provide in-depth support over the phone or digitally.

As part of this change, we will be closing the Glenfield branch on 13 June and the Henderson branch on 27 June.

The opening of the Customer Hub in Takapuna, and our new specialist teams, are an important investment in our Auckland presence This means we can keep delivering better banking experiences for our customers who we serve over the phone and digitally as well as those who visit us in person

Our people
We’re pleased to share that many of our people will remain in roles within the Bank. The intent of this change is to reshape our teams to better serve our customers in how they’re choosing to do their banking.

Ways we will continue supporting customers to bank better
We’re committed to helping customers bank better every.

Digitally
Customers can do most of their banking through our mobile app or internet banking, including making payments, opening a new account, putting a temporary block on a card and refixing a home loan. We have guidance on how to do these things in the new help section of our website co-operativebank.co.nz/help

Over the phone
We can also help with most queries over the phone, at a time that suits. Our New Zealand-based team is available by phone seven days a week at 0800 554 554, Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm and weekends from 9am to 4pm.

In person
For customers who prefer to meet in person, our teams in Auckland will be available to help in Takapuna and Manukau. It’s best to call 0800 554 554 first to make an appointment to ensure the right person is available to help.
