The Co-operative Bank removes Automatic Payment Default fee

On July 4 2025, The Co-operative Bank will remove the $2.50 Automatic Payment Default fee for both consumer (Everyday) and Small Business Customers.

This is a continuation of a significant programme of work to radically simplify our product suite and fees to better meet customers’ needs and deliver better value. We have reduced or removed 15 fees in the past year and customers will see more fee reductions over the coming year.

Customers don’t need to do anything differently. The changes will go live on 4 July 2025 on The Co-operative Bank’s internet banking channels, mobile banking app and customer statements.
