For customers who may require emergency financial assistance, we are available on 0800 554 554 between 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm over the weekend.

Smile on Call
On 29th October 2025 we stopped offering new Smile on Call accounts. If you already have this account open, you can continue to use it as usual.
Current account
On 29th October 2025 we stopped offering new Current accounts. If you already have this account open, you can continue to use it as usual.

In order to focus on personal banking, our core offering, we have stopped selling the following new business accounts.
Business Current account
On 26th February 2025 we stopped offering business banking products including business current accounts. If you already have this account open, you can continue to use it as usual.
Business Online account
On 26th February 2025 we stopped offering business banking products including business online accounts. If you already have this account open, you can continue to use it as usual.

Lending
Personal Loan - Secured
On 1st December 2023 we stopped offering secured Personal Loans and secured Vehicle Loans. If you have one of these loans with us, you can continue to use this as usual. You can also download our Fees brochure here.
Insurance
Loan Plus (Loan Repayment Insurance)
From 1st May 2024 we stopped offering new Loan Plus insurance policies. The current terms and conditions continue to apply to existing policies.
Credit Card Repayment Insurance
On 9th August 2019, we stopped offering Credit Card Repayment Insurance (CCRI).
If you had an existing CCRI policy covering your Co-operative Bank Fair Rate Credit Card, please note that your policy and cover ended on 30 April 2023.
Claims for this product are made directly with AIA.

Simple Life
From 31st March 2018 we stopped offering new Simple Life insurance policies. The current terms and conditions continue to apply to existing policies.

On 4th November 1992 we stopped offering new Life Care version 1 insurance policies. The current terms and conditions continue to apply to existing policies.

On 23rd March 2003 we stopped offering new Life Care version 2 insurance policies. The current terms and conditions continue to apply to existing policies.
Life Care V3
On 29th April 2005 we stopped offering new Life Care version 3 insurance policies. The current terms and conditions continue to apply to existing policies.
