Secure online payments from a smartphone
Online EFTPOS lets you pay online using your smartphone, straight from your bank app. It’s a safe, easy and secure way to pay using just your mobile number, no bank or card details needed.
You can use Online EFTPOS as many times as you want within your daily limit. If you are unsure of your daily limit, you can speak to one of our team on 0800 554 554.

If you have The Co‑operative mobile app, you’re automatically set up.
To pay, you simply select Online EFTPOS as your payment method at the checkout.
Select The Co‑operative Bank and enter your mobile number, then approve a payment notification within your bank app. If the funds are available, the payment will go through immediately. That's it.
Didn’t receive a payment notification request?
If for any reason you didn’t receive a payment notification request in your banking app here is so helpful tips:
- Refresh the mobile app - log out and log back into the app.
- Double-check that you have used the mobile phone number that is registered against your Co‑operative Bank app.
