Join our beta testing programme
Being on The Co‑operative Bank’s Beta testing Programme will give you access to pre-release products, features, and banking services before they are available to all of our customers. Your feedback from using these experiences will help us identify opportunities, improvements, and potential issues to fix; making your banking experience even better.
We’re currently launching a mobile beta in this programme, if you’d like to join, sign up to be a tester here. Note that right now the beta is only available to Android users.
When you sign up to join the beta programme, we’ll need to ask you a few questions to help us understand your background and banking needs. There are no right answers, we just want to understand your background and make sure we have a diverse group of people from all walks of life, so we can build better products and experiences for everyone.
If you change your mind after signing up - that’s all good. You’ll be able to leave the beta app easily by navigating to our app page on the Android Play Store on your mobile and using the opt out link there. To leave the beta programme completely, you’ll need to email design@co-operativebank.co.nz.
Our digital team periodically runs research sessions and 1-1 usability testing. Sessions will require a bit more than just beta testing a new app feature, we’re after in-depth conversation and specific feedback. These sessions often run for up to an hour, so participating testers will be given a $50 grocery store voucher as a thank you for your time. If you’re interested, just indicate that on the Beta sign-up form and we’ll get in touch when opportunities come up.
