General Alerts

General alerts are about your whole banking relationship rather than a specific account. You can receive general alerts when:

  • Your Internet Banking has been logged into
  • A new payee is added or existing payee details change
  • If a scheduled payment doesn't go through

Alerts on specific accounts

Under General Alerts you'll find a list of your accounts eligible for customised account alerts. You can receive account alerts when:

  • When your balance goes over a certain amount
  • When your balance falls below a certain amount
  • To send you your balance at a certain time
  • When there has been a deposit greater than a certain amount
  • When there has been a withdrawal greater than a certain amount
  • When an EFTPOS transaction has occurred

Mobile app

  1. Log into the mobile app and tap on Menu in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap on Settings on the main menu, then tap Alerts.
  3. Under Alert Method select how you would like receive alerts, (via email, app notification, or both) using the Yes/No sliders.
  4. In Accounts, tapping account will reveal the various alert options. You can then use the Yes/No sliders to customise your account alerts.
  5. You can then use the Yes/No sliders to customise your preferences for General and Required.

Internet Banking

  1. Log into Internet Banking and click Settings in the top menu.
  2. Then click on Alerts in the left-hand menu.
  3. Under Alert Method select how you would like receive alerts, (via email, app notification, or both) using the Yes/No sliders.
  4. You can then use the Yes/No sliders to customise your preferences for Genera Alerts and Account Alerts

In Account Alerts clicking on an account will reveal the various alert options. If you decide not to make changes, simply click on the account again to collapse the section.
