Getting started with Internet Banking

Any customer who has at least one current or savings account can register and use Internet Banking.

Reset your Internet Banking password

There's a quick way you can reset your password if you have forgotten it, or if you have locked yourself out of Internet Banking.

(If you would simply like to change your password, you can do this anytime via Internet Banking.)

If you do not have your Co-operative Bank card (debit, credit or EFTPOS card) your 2-step verification mobile number or the email address registered to your account, you will need to phone us on 0800 554 554, Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm, or weekends 9am - 4pm to reset your password.

App accessibility

Our mobile app is supported on devices running iOS 17 or later or Android 7 or later. We recommend keeping your device updated with the latest operating system and security updates provided by your device manufacturer.

If your device supports iOS 17 or later, you can update your operating system through your device settings and you'll continue to receive future app updates. Otherwise you can continue using your current version of the app but please note you won't receive future app updates.

You can also manage your accounts using Internet Banking through your phone or tablet's web browser. Simply visit our website, select Log in, and enter your customer number and password.

Increasing daily transaction limit

If you need to make a payment e.g. buying a new car, you can increase your daily limit.
